I spent 14 days at this location on BLM (Bureau of Land Management) in January-February 2019. This remains one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and we (me and the pup) were essentially the only ones in sight (averaged about 3 cars driving the dirt road each day). We just picked a direction and walked each day . . . usually down one of the massive gorges. This was taken at one of the far ends of the plain as it approached the walls of Cedar Mesa.
